We are a group of Singapore Management University students who are secretly in love with rainbows. One day, while deciding the topic for our Technology and World Change class during lunch, the group burst into a frenzy when a spread of colourful food was served at our table. It was like we were about to 'eat the rainbow'. We started questioning about the impact of food colouring to our lifestyle, our health and the bigger world population. Hence, we decided to embark on an in-depth investigation into this area of 'technology', which has drastically transformed the way we prepare and eat our foods!
